Africa-Press – Angola. The winners of the 2025 National Youth Award announced this Monday. According to a note, the winners will be revealed during a press conference, which will take place at the Aníbal de Melo Press Center (CIAM), in Luanda.
The award celebrates the ability to transform ideas into real solutions, in areas such as Entrepreneurship and Youth Business, Education, Research and Innovation, Culture, Arts and Sports, Solidarity, Associations and Volunteering
The National Youth Award Gala is scheduled for next Wednesday, the 30th, where the stories that inspire, the names that make a difference and the faces of Angola’s future will be announced.For each category, the award involves the presentation of a trophy, certificate and title proving the financial support that ranges from 300,000 kwanzas to 1,500,000 kwanzas to the respective category.
The initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports also aims to recognize young people who stand out for their talent, commitment and positive impact on communities.
The National Youth Award is social and symbolic in nature and is a public and solemn way of paying tribute to young Angolans who, individually or in association, have stood out in the implementation and dissemination of innovative and sustainable projects over the last year.
The creation of the National Youth Award was one of the recommendations made at the National Youth Forum held on 13 September 2013 in Luanda, whose regulations were approved by Presidential Decree No. 196/20 of 29 July.
