Africa-Press – Angola. Thirty-one women entrepreneurs improved their knowledge, this Saturday, in the city of Uíge, about overcoming prejudices and achieving success in the business area, academic and professional training.

This knowledge was shared in the second edition of the workshop on motivation and business – “Meeting successful women”, promoted by the organization Eventos Envolve.

On the occasion, the official chief executive of the Eventos Envolve Organization, Gelson Miguel, explained that the training meeting aims to empower women, in order to contribute to the development of the region and the promotion of female empowerment.

He said that the initiative was motivated by the existence of prejudice among young women in the province. For this reason, “we decided to motivate women to invest in business and, consequently, create income.

He reiterated the continuous training of women in the region in various areas of social and business life, through workshops, seminars, business forums, lectures and other training activities.

In turn, the professor at the Private Polytechnic Institute of Uíge, Rozana Guilarte, when speaking on the topic “Overcoming prejudice and self-development”, pointed out racial, religious, linguistic and cultural prejudice as the most prevalent in the region.

Given the situation, he said it is important to create a culture of reporting and supporting victims of this evil.

Banker Vivência Emília Chanzambi, who spoke on “Strategic management and business administration”, urged participants to opt for planning, elaboration of company objectives and to avoid very high profits.

The event also covered “Strategic business management”, “Self-development and other approaches to the business area.
