Africa-Press – Angola. Women from different social strata visited, this Saturday, the historic sites of the municipality of Cazenga, in Luanda, as part of the March/Woman event.

Speaking to the press, the director of Culture and Tourism of Cazenga, Amadeu Correia, said that the intention is to preserve and enhance historical sites in order to make the existence of these sites in Cazenga known to the public.

For her part, the second municipal secretary of the MPLA in Cazenga, Filomena Marinela Kudimuenha, said that the women of the municipality are increasingly interested in knowing the history of the district.

He called for better use of Largo do Antonov, a place where 28 people died after an aircraft crashed more than 20 years ago.

Cazenga has six urban districts, namely Hoji Ya Henda, Tala Hadi, Calawenda, Kima Kieza, 11 de Novembro and Cazenga Popular.
