Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan international footballer Zito Luvumbo was transferred from Cagliari, in the Italian 1st Division of football (Serie A), to Mallorca in Spain (La Liga).
The information appears on the Italian club’s official page on the social network Facebook.
The striker (23 years old), who recently represented Angola national team at CAN’2025, will be at the service of the Spanish club on loan until the end of the season, with an option to purchase, with the operation being carried out this Monday, the last day of the transfer window at European football level.
Zito Luvumbo joined Italian football in the 2021 season to represent Cagliari, where he played for about five years, and also had a spell, in 2022, at “Como 1907”, in the Spanish second division.
This season (2025/26), he played 23 games and leaves Cagliari in 12th place in the championship, with 28 points, a competition led by Inter Milan, with 55 points.
Overall, Zito participated in 136 games and scored 22 goals.
The Angolan could, however, be an option this weekend, in the 23rd round of La Liga, against Barcelona.
Also, on the last day of transfers, Angolan Rui Modesto left Udinese (1st Division), where he spent a season and a half, for Palermo FC (2nd), both from Italy.
This season, Modesto played seven games and scored a single goal against Udinese, which they leave in ninth place in Serie A, with 32 points.
Palermo, to which he transferred, occupies fourth place in Serie B (2nd Division), with 41 points.
