Babitseng also said they had set up several cost mitigating strategies and that some stakeholders, amongst them Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC), FIFA, CAF, Choppies, First National Bank Botswana (FNBB) and Orange Botswana, were helping them to achieve their goals.
Babitseng promised that they would also embark on refereeing and coaching development programmes.
He said they intended to increase the BFA workforce by including the chief operating officer, public relations officer, human resource manager in their management team in an attempt to align the associations administration to a higher level.
Babitseng added that they were also aiming to commercialise the BFA brand, and that negotiations were ongoing with stakeholders to partner with the association to improve both the men and women football in the country.
