Africa-Press – Botswana. President Duma Boko has reaffirmed his commitment to improving education in Botswana. He has consistently highlighted education as a national priority and is taking active steps to support learning at multiple levels.
In previous Kgotla meetings, Boko mentioned his interest in lecturing law students. He clarified that, due to his demanding schedule, he would only be able to conduct night classes. This initiative aims to provide students with direct access to his expertise and experience in law.
In addition, President Boko has reinstated his book donation program. Through this initiative, he has provided educational resources to various schools, enhancing access to learning materials for students across the country.
Boko is also overseeing the construction of a state-of-the-art library. The facility is expected to serve as a central hub for research, reading, and academic development. The project reflects his broader vision of creating sustainable educational infrastructure that benefits students and teachers alike.
Through these combined efforts, President Boko aims to elevate the quality of education, support student learning, and strengthen the country’s academic institutions. These initiatives demonstrate a hands-on approach to fostering knowledge and skills development in Botswana.
