Africa-Press – Botswana. Lesotho Prime Minister, Mr Ntsoakoane Matekane was the first of the expected heads of state to arrive in the country followed by the Vice President of Namibia, Dr Nangolo Mbumba to attend the 15th edition of the US-Africa Business Summit. Prime minister Matekane was welcomed by Assistant Minister for State President Mr Dumezweni Mthimkhulu while Vice President Mbumba was received by Minister of Lands and Water Affairs Dr Kefentse Mzwinila.
Other heads of states who arrived late evening were Niger’s President Mr Mohamed Bazoum and Zimbabwe’s Dr Emerson Mnangagwa who were met by Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Mmusi Kgafela.
Mozambique President Mr Filipe Nyusi is expected to arrive Wednesday morning.
The summit is Corporate Council on Africa’s premium annual event that offers a platform for dialogue between African Heads of State and senior US officials, African government officials, and captains of various industries.
