Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Minister of Internal Administration, Paulo Rocha, pointed out this Wednesday to the situation of “stability” of crime in Cape Verde, after the peak registered in December, particularly in the city of Praia.
“We have a situation of some stability, particularly in Praia”, began by saying the official, who was speaking to the press at the end of the closing ceremony of the XI training course for National Police agents, which took place this morning at the Training Center of the National Police.
“In the rest of the country we have stability too, but we always emphasize that monitoring is permanent because the challenges are enormous, particularly with the issue of juvenile delinquency”, he continued.
In order to stop juvenile delinquency, from the perspective of the Internal Administration and the National Police, Paulo Rocha said that the bet is always on police prevention, as well as on quick police reaction and reinforcement of patrolling.
