Africa-Press – Cape verde. Professor António Teixeira from Porto Novo is one of the representatives of Cape Verde at the meeting of members of the Collaboration for Learning on Education Financing in Africa, which began this Monday in Nairobi, Kenya.
António Teixeira told Inforpress that he will be at the meeting as vice-president of the National Network for the Education for All Campaign (RNCEPT-CV), accompanied by two other members of this network.
The Nairobi meeting, which runs until the 25th, according to the same source, aims to consolidate the knowledge acquired throughout the collaboration, deepen the analysis of the main challenges of education financing, and reflect on the lessons of the action research on quality financing per student inspired by the initial Quality Student Cost (CAQi).
Developing common priorities for advocating for education financing and launching the Nairobi Charter on Transformative Education Financing are other purposes of this event.
The working meeting will bring together research/action teams from several African countries, the Brazilian CAQi team, and coordinating partners.
