Africa-Press – Cape verde. The competition for innovative products and services that can be adapted to the sports industry, Sport Bootcamp, by the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee, arrives on the island of Sal on the 6th of March, taking place at the Innovation and Enterprise Support (IES), in the city of Asparagus.
According to the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee (COC) the Sport Bootcamp program aims to stimulate an “entrepreneurial mindset” to drive change towards entrepreneurship and innovation in the sports industry.
The target audience is athletes, sports leaders or just a sports lover with business ideas linked to the sector.
According to the organization, the competition has renowned specialists from the most diverse areas, who help participants to develop their ideas, with a view to their implementation in the future.
The last edition of the competition took place in the city of Praia, in February, and was considered “a success” by the COC.
Sport Bootcamp is an initiative of the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee, run by the organization Wecare in partnership with several institutions.
