Africa-Press – Cape verde. Applications for the Financing Program for Youth Associations – PROFAJ 2023, whose objective is to encourage the development of projects in various fields, are now open. The deadline is June 7th and applications must be submitted on the YouthConnekt – Cape Verde platform.
According to the Institute of Sports and Youth (IDJ), PROFAJ aims to encourage the development of projects by youth associations and informal groups of young people, in various fields of activity, from health and well-being, environment, creative and manufacturing industries and inclusive (music, art and culture), training, energy, social inclusion and digital inclusion, among others.
The program intends to produce relevant social impact in the community where the projects will be developed, as a way of generating new solutions for current social challenges, complementing traditional responses.
Requirements
Non-profit youth associations and informal groups of young people who are registered as a youth association or informal group of young people on the digital platform of the IDJ and who have their tax and contribution situation in order may apply for the support provided for in this first public notice. before the tax administration and social security, when applicable.
The IDJ also informs that the co-financing can be in the form of human resources, material or logistical means, and its contribution cannot exceed 60% of the total expenses considered, regardless of the estimated value of the project.
