Africa-Press – Cape verde. The International Institute of the Portuguese Language (IILP) has open, until January 23rd, the first period of applications for the Support Program for the Participation of Young Portuguese Language Researchers in International Congresses and Seminars (PAJILP).PAJILP is an IILP initiative aimed at supporting the scientific mobility of young researchers in the CPLP space and encouraging the creation of academic and scientific collaboration networks in that space.

According to the institute, researchers from public universities in CPLP Member States, holders of a Master’s or Doctorate degree in research areas, aged up to 35 years, can apply for the program.

PAJILP will have two application moments each year, one in January and the other in June, both lasting 15 days.

The participation of young researchers from Portuguese-speaking countries in international congresses and seminars also favors the creation of science and research networks within the CPLP space, strengthening cooperation between researchers and their respective higher education institutions.
