Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Multisectoral Regulatory Agency for the Economy (ARME) in partnership with the Center for Renewable Energy and Industrial Maintenance (CERMI) promoted this Wednesday an open conversation to raise awareness among students about the importance of energetic transcription.
The meeting on the “Clean Energy Transition” aims to elucidate students about the concepts of energy transition, publicize the country’s public policies to achieve this goal and disseminate information on good practices and experiences, as a way to encourage consumers to change behavior.
Speaking to Inforpress, the administrator of ARME, Carlos Ramos, said that the initiative falls within the scope of the activities of the World Consumer Day, marked on March 15, under the motto “Empowering Consumers through the Clean Energy Transition”, as a way to raise global awareness of consumer rights, protection and empowerment.
Since ARME is the regulatory authority, it must inform the population about its obligations and rights to promote the defense of consumer interests.
