The Regional Commander of Santiago Sul and Maio (CRSSM) of the National Police (PN), Orlando Évora, said today that no serious occurrences or changes in order were recorded and assured that operations are taking place normally.Speaking to Inforpress about the field operations carried out this festive season, Orlando Évora gave a positive assessment, highlighting that no changes in order or major crimes were recorded, but only reports of theft.
“ We will take stock at the end of the operation on January 5th of next year. At the moment the situation is normal, we have no serious incidents, changes in order or major crimes, ” he confirmed, stating that the operation involves personnel from the regional command, the central criminal investigation department and the intervention body.
The Regional Commander of Santiago Sul and Maio took the opportunity to appeal to the population to trust in the work of the National Police, reiterating that it “has done” the best possible to support people in need.
