Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Municipal Assembly of Brava is meeting today in the first ordinary session of this year to consider the activities report and the management account of the city council for the year 2022.
Speaking to the press, the mayor of Brava, Francisco Tavares, announced that a proposal will be submitted for consideration and approval for the creation of the municipal youth council and also a sport council.
He also said that a proposal for the renegotiation of the town council’s debt would be submitted in order to ensure that the remaining months of this term of office could be carried out with greater tranquillity, and to settle all the small debts it has with local tradesmen and contractors, and also to have some financial slack that would allow other investments to be made without jeopardising sustainability and the municipal coffers.
The new distribution of departments will also be presented by the MA, taking into account that one of the councillors has asked for leave of absence.
