The moment that marks the beginning of this partnership in the air transport sector between the two countries was also witnessed by Carlos Monteiro, Coordinator of Economic Regulation of the Civil Aviation Agency of Cape Verde and Marek Skrna, Deputy Director of the Air Transport Division of the department of Civil Aviation of the Czech Republic.

The announcement was made by the Czech-Cape Verdean Chamber of Commerce on its official page on the social network. Without advancing concrete dates yet, and the days on which the operation will take place, the Czech-Cape Verdean Chamber of Commerce said only that the flights are coming soon.
“Soon we will be able to offer you three flights a week on the axis of the Czech Republic – Sal and Boavista”, they advanced at the time.
“This success clearly indicates that we are great at promoting Cape Verde, and the proof of this is also that Cape Verde forms an ideal tourist destination for the Czech and Slovak Republic”, they explained, regarding the focus of the operations’ target audience.
It should be recalled that the aforementioned Chamber of Commerce between the two countries was recently created with a view, among other objectives, to boost tourism between the two destinations.
It should be noted that Mónica Sofia Duarte, Cape Verdean businesswoman, model and stylist, born in Santa Cruz, residing in that country, is vice-president of that Chamber and mentor of several actions aimed at the sustainable development of Cape Verde, based on partnerships .
