Africa-Press – Cape verde. Fuel prices are cheaper during the month of January, according to the latest update from the Multisectoral Regulatory Agency for the Economy (ARME), effective from 00:00 on the 1st. There is an average decrease of 10.73%.
According to the new price list, gasoline is now sold for ESC 129.50/L; oil 152.50 ESC/L; normal diesel at ESC 138.80/L; diesel for electricity at ESC 129.80/L; marine diesel at ESC 108.60/L; fuel 380 at 89.70 ESC/Kg and fuel 180 at 94.60 ESC/Kg.
Butane gas is now sold in bulk for ESC 145.30/kg. Thus, 3kg bottles are now sold at 414 escudos; those weighing 6kg, at 872 escudos; those of 12.5Kg, at 1,817.00 escudos and those of 55Kg at 7,994.00 escudos.
In the internal market, prices of butane, gasoline, oil, normal diesel, electricity diesel, marine diesel, fuel oil 380 and fuel oil 180 decreased by 7.86%, 10.01%, 8.90% , 11.65%, 12.36%, 12.77%, 10.92% and 11.34%, respectively. All in all, it corresponds to an average decrease in fuel prices of 10.73 percent.
The new maximum sales prices, to the final consumer, are in force until January 31, 2023.
