Africa-Press – Cape verde. The City Hall of Boa Vista team visited 27 houses in Rabil that received painting on the facades, a project budgeted at 340 hundreds escudos, conceived in partnership with the citizen of this municipality Carlos Cardoso, an emigrant in the United States and born in Rabil.
In the same context, rehabilitated residences and bathrooms were inaugurated.
As the mayor of Boa Vista, Cláudio Mendonça, told Inforpress, since he took office as mayor, the emigrant Carlos Cardoso has always asked how and what he could contribute to help his home island.
Therefore, the City Hall team suggested that the help could be for painting the exteriors of houses, in Rabil, and, during the visit of the mayor of Boa Vista to the USA, with the consent of Carlos Cardoso, who considered the idea “brilliant”, this reinforced the intention and willingness to help.
