Africa-Press – Cape verde. The police, in São Lourenço dos Órgãos, set off two clandestine brandy production units to produce without industrial licensing registration and outside the period established by current legislation.
The authorities of the National Police Station , in that county, proceeded with the respective dismantling.
The information provided on the IGAE page shows that the National Police has been oriented in the municipalities under its jurisdiction, “culminating in the dismantling of these production units”.
The musts used were destroyed on site, as they did not meet the requirements of hygiene and food safety standards.
The IGAE says it will continue to fight offenders.
