Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Minister of Education, Amadeu Cruz, started, this Tuesday, an official visit to Cuba, at the invitation of the Cuban counterparts in Education and Higher Education. Its agenda includes meetings with local government officials, visits to educational establishments, exchanges and meetings with Cape Verdean students in Cuba.
Amadeu Cruz is accompanied by the Secretary of State for Health, Evandro Monteiro. His agenda includes meetings, Wednesday, with the Minister of Education of the Republic of Cuba and the Minister of Higher Education, with the Cuban Medical Services Trader and a visit to the Latin American School of Medicine.
On Thursday, the 14th, Amadeu Cruz visited the University of Havana, the Faculty of Medicine “Julio Trigo” and the special School “Solidaridad con Panamá”, in addition to exchanges with officials from the Ministry of Education. and the Ministry of Public Health
For Friday, the 15th, the visit schedule continues at the Ministry of Education’s company Intercâmbio Científico Educacional (ICE), in addition to the presentation of the Portfolio of Opportunities for International Cooperation and a visit to the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB ).
The last day of the official visit, on Saturday, will be reserved for meetings with Cape Verdean students in Cuba, with the Minister of Education of Cuba and with the Ambassador of Cape Verde in Cuba.
