Africa-Press – Cape verde. Compal joined FICASE to celebrate, this Saturday, the 70th anniversary of its emergence in the Portuguese market, with cultural, recreational and educational activities for students and families in Praia. The initiative, to take place at Parque 5 de Julho, from 3 pm, also falls within the month of children.
Altogether, about 1300 students will participate, from the 1st to the 8th grade, from the 12 groups and two non-grouped schools in the municipality of Praia, their respective parents and guardians, teachers, FICASE employees, representatives of Compal and Delegation of the Ministry of Education.
Among the cultural activities, the work of artists Tikay, Manu Reis, Os Enigma and Zuleica Carvalho stands out. There will also be a demonstration of extreme sports, traditional, educational and didactic games on healthy eating, music, theater, parade and dance, whose protagonists will be the children themselves.
According to a note from FICASE, the celebration takes place only in Cape Verde, where Compal has been for over 40 years, and has maintained an important partnership with the institution for 15 years.
This partnership includes support for the Foundation’s socio-educational programs, with emphasis on School Kits, School Meals and Student Sponsorship.
