The film “Pirinha” by Cape Verdean director Natacha Craveiro has just received the award for Best Human Rights Fiction Feature, at the 32nd edition of Ecocine – International Environmental and Human Rights Film Festival, in Brazil. The information was released this Wednesday, 11th, on the film’s social network page.

According to the same source, “Pirinha” has fulfilled its mission, and has been recognized along the way. “Pirinha has already been selected for more than 15 international festivals, since its launch in May, and is awaiting responses from a few more submissions.”
