Africa-Press – Cape verde. The animated film “The Pink Ribbon”, based on the book by writer Dai Varela, will be at the Lift-Off’s Filmmaker Sessions Online Film Festival in the United Kingdom, from May 1st to 15th, in its online screening.
The film portrays a children’s story and features well-known voices from communication and culture such as Daniel Medina (Narrator), Mirtó Veríssimo (Li Rau Mau-Mau) and Éder Xavier (Li-Bai, the Pompous Pigeon), representing the characters of this history.
“A ribbon cor-de-rosa”, in 3D, also has an original soundtrack sung by Joel Almeida, Romeu di Lurdes, Ana Lisboa and Leroy Pinto.
With a duration of approximately 15 minutes, the film counts with the realization of Mon de Anjo, and the producer is the author of the work, Dai Varela.
