Africa-Press – Cape verde. This Tuesday, July 11th, in the city of Praia, the Dretu Foundation is launched. It is an initiative of the First Lady of Cape Verde Débora Katisa Carvalho.
A Fundação Dretu, anunciada em fevereiro deste ano, foi oficialmente criada no mês de maio último e visa contribuir para promover a educação para a cidadania, a paz, a justiça, e o bem comum, enquanto suporte fundamental para o desenvolvimento harmonioso da criança, do jovem e do idoso, bem como das suas famílias.
Other valences of the Foundation are the promotion of environmental protection and environmental education, as well as the promotion, development and support of initiatives of a social nature in the fields of charity and social solidarity.
Collaborations
The Dretu Foundation, a non-profit organization, will work closely with local and international partners, civil society organizations and institutions to achieve its objectives and implement structuring projects that reflect the commitment of the citizen and First Lady, Débora Katisa Carvalho .
The presentation will take place at 5:30 pm at the Hotel Pestana Trópico, in Cidade da Praia.
