Africa-Press – Cape verde. A 37-year-old fisherman who goes by the name of Alesson Soares and known as “Alex”, originally from the municipality of Tarrafal de São Nicolau, has been missing at sea since the early hours of Wednesday, 3rd.
According to information collected by Inforpress from the Maritime and Port Institute (INP) delegation, Alex Soares went to sea at dawn on Wednesday, 03, alone, in a vessel with an open mouth of about six meters, to fish in the vicinity from Ilheu Raso.
According to the same source, the alert of his disappearance was given to the authorities around 5:30 pm on Wednesday, and the search and rescue operation was immediately started, which lasted until around 11:30 pm, however, without success.
According to the information collected, the searches were resumed today with the help of two fishing vessels from the municipality of Tarrafal.
