Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Terra de Valor project on Thursday ended up a training course on cooperativism for four groups of women from the three municipalities working in the fruit, vegetable and tuber processing sector.
According to the promoters, the five-day training aims to support women’s groups to organize and make their products reach the largest possible market.
The training was attended by women from the transformation of roots and tubers unit from Campanas de Cima, processing fruits and corn from Lomba (municipality of São Filipe), fruit processing from Chãzinho (Santa Catarina do Fogo) and the fruit processing unit from the municipality of Mosteiros.
The closure of this training course, carried out by Cospe in partnership with Coopermondo, two Italian organizations responsible for the implementation of the project, takes place today around noon at the Center for Employment and Vocational Training in São Filipe.
