Africa-Press – Cape verde. The National Football Team plays today, the 12th, at 6 pm, in Cape Verde, against the semi-finalist selection of the World Cup, Morocco. The private will take place at the Prince Moulay Abdellah stadium, in Rabat, capital of Morocco.
This will be the first of two games that the national team of coach Pedro Brito “Bubista” will play in the next few days, this being a friendly against Morocco, and on the 18th, a “more serious” game against its counterpart from Burkina Faso , in a match referring to the fifth and penultimate round of Group B qualifying for the African Cup of Nations, CAN.
The match will be on national soil, at Estádio Nacional, located in Achada São Filipe, with start scheduled for 15h.

CAN 2023 takes place between January and February 2024
On July 3, 2022, it was confirmed by the African Football Confederation – CAF, that the competition, initially planned to take place between June and July 2023, would have been postponed and its realization will take place between January and February 2024 due to the climate concerns during the summer in Ivory Coast.
