Africa-Press – Cape verde. The U-20 national football team lose again, this time 2-0, to the Mauritanian counterpart, in the second of two friendly matches scheduled with the Northwestern Africa country squad.
In a match held on Sunday at Cheikha Boidiya Stadium in Nouakchott, the home country scored both goals in the second half, scored by Amadou and Boushab.
The national team gave, once again, good indications, despite finishing this tour to Mauritania without scoring any goals and having conceded three.
The list of 23 called up, born between 2002 and 2004, included athletes who play in clubs in Cabo Verde, Belgium, France, Germany, Portugal, which for the FCF demonstrates “the scouting of the FCF has been working and to make known Cabo Verdean players inside and outside the country”.
