Forum recommends greater involvement of the private sector in governance

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The director general of Employment and Vocational Training this Tuesday elected a set of recommendations from the forum on the quality of technical and professional training, highlighting the need for greater involvement of the private sector in governance in Cape Verde.

Speaking to the press, Danilson Borges said that with the conclusion of the two days of the said forum, a set of recommendations and notes was issued so that the Directorate-General for Employment and Vocational Training can take into account aspects regarding the implementation of the policies.

“With regard to the recommendations, the first question refers to governance, the greater involvement of private sector companies in the governance of professional training, not only at the time of consultation, but also involvement in implementation and consultation in decision-making” , he stated.

The second recommendation that came out of the meeting, he continued, has to do with inclusion, that is, the need to have a more inclusive professional training, not only in terms of access, but, above all, in terms of mobility, having spaces for job training more mobile than people with disabilities.
