Africa-Press – Cape verde. Maximum fuel prices in Cape Verde fell by 4.49%, on average, in January, compared to the previous month, announced the Multisectoral Economic Regulatory Authority (ARME).
According to Lusa, the price of diesel falls by 4.95% to 123 Cape Verdean escudos (around 1.12 euros) per liter and gasoline by 4.28% to 132 escudos, according to the new product price table regulated oil companies, already in force.
ARME also indicated that the price of butane gas is the exception and is rising, with an increase of 0.97% .
As a result, 12.5-kilogram gas bottles now cost 1,814 escudos (around 16.45 euros).
Compared to the same period last year (January 2023), the average variation in fuel prices corresponds to a decrease of 7.84%.
