Africa-Press – Cape verde. Cape Verdean artist Hilar presents on the 21st of this month the “party-concert” “Bo t’amam? in the Latin Quarter, in Lisbon (Portugal).

According to a note sent, the “show-party” will take place during the artist’s birthday week and will feature several renowned PALOP guest artists on stage, such as Mr. Carly, Ary Mutt, Mark Delman.

The band is made up of important instrumentalists from the current music scene, such as Djodje Almeida, Emilio Lobo, Neo and Humberto Ramos. The end of the night will be provided by some DJs who promise to heat up the dance floor: Berlok, Liedson and Tanny.

The same source reveals that Hilar will perform songs from the album “Bo t’amam?” in this show held in partnership with iAMusic & 5M Events.

Earlier this year, the artist performed on two Lisbon stages, at B.Leza and at Music Box. Previously, he had been at the Gulbenkian Summer Garden event in July 2023. “A true rising artist, Hilar has been in the studio recording his next album, which should be released later this year, by Klasszik,” he says. Hilar, whose real name is Hilário Silva, was born in Spain and currently lives in Portugal. He has lived in São Vicente, Boa Vista and Santiago, taking advantage of all these latitudes to get to know Cape Verdean culture in depth and to find inspiration to compose. The young man, who says he is from Mindelo, formed his first band at the age of 16 and has never stopped playing music.

According to the same source, Hilar has written and done artistic direction for other big names in music, such as Soraia Ramos, on the single “Kapri”, released in 2024. But there are other collaborations in the works.
