Africa-Press – Cape verde. The General Inspectorate of Economic Activities (IGAE) has instituted four administrative offense proceedings in the “Importador & Wholesaler” operation, an inspection action aimed at importers and wholesalers, in the city of Praia.
In an official note, the authority informs that the purpose of the operation was to verify compliance with the disciplinary rules to which they are bound.
According to the same source, the operation resulted in 25 inspections carried out, four notifications and, consequently, four administrative offence proceedings against the offenders.
IGAE also informed that it will continue to carry out inspections, within the scope of its competences, throughout the country, in favour of healthy and fair competition between economic operators, safeguarding food safety and the public health of consumers.
