To ensure that the repairs continue safely, Cabnave announced that the vessel will be launched again and subjected to a new hauling operation, with the aim of ensuring that the ship is correctly settled and technically assessing the impact of the incident.

The company also announced the opening of an internal investigation process to determine the causes and factors that led to the incident. The measure aims to reinforce safety protocols and prevent similar situations from happening again in the future.

Cabnave assures that it is working in close coordination with CV Interilhas, the ship’s owner, and says it hopes to complete the repair work “as soon as possible”.
