Africa-Press – Cape verde. The new edition of the novel “Chuva Braba”, by Cape Verdean writer Manuel Lopes, was launched this Thursday, in Praia, with 3000 copies.
The archipelago’s classic literature features a preface by Victor Barros, an academic from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at NOVA University Lisbon.
This new edition of “Chuva Braba” is the result of a partnership between the Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries, through the Institute of the National Library of Cape Verde.
For the presenter of this work, university professor Osvaldino Monteiro, this work constitutes an “important reference” for the history, culture and identity of Cape Verde.
