Lisbon: Cape Verdean teacher Neusa Lopes presents social and educational projects at ACV

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Cabo Verdean Association of Lisbon (ACV), Portugal, promotes next Monday, 19th, at 5:30 pm, a meeting with the Cape Verdean university professor and writer, based in the United States of America (USA), Neusa Correia Lopes.

The teacher will present her publications and her educational and social projects, both in the US and in Cape Verde.

Neusa Correia Lopes is a Cape Verdean educator, teacher and author, having been working in the social and educational field for over 20 years.

But it was as an English teacher in secondary schools and universities in Cape Verde, namely the Jean Piaget University and the University of Santiago, that she began her professional life.

In the United States of America, she is also a professor of English as a Second Language at Bunker Hill Community College, in Massachusetts.

He also participates in several multicultural social and community integration programs for immigrants in the Boston area.

published works

In 2020, he published the book “Enigma – Portrait of a Life” ; in 2021, the book “Educating Through Pandemic-Traditional Classroom Versus Virtual Space-The Education Realm”; and, in 2022, launched the magazine “Invisible”, to promote communities that suffer from social invisibility.

During the meeting at the ACV, a Book Fair will be inaugurated, with special Christmas promotions.
