Africa-Press – Cape verde. On October 1st, Cesaltina Ramos Technical School will host a delegation of 21 teachers and students from Pui Ching Secondary School in Macau for an educational and cultural exchange, offering new opportunities for students, Inforpress reported.
Speaking to Inforpress, the school’s principal, António Afonso, said the week-long program aims to strengthen relations between Cape Verde and Macau and offer new learning opportunities for students at Cesaltina Ramos Polyvalent Secondary School.
According to the same source, this visit will be an opportunity to explore areas of mutual interest, focusing on education and the environment.
The delegation, which is already planning activities in Macau, will participate in several activities on Santiago Island. The program includes visits to Cidade Velha, the island’s interior, and the Serra Malagueta Natural Park, in collaboration with the Cape Verdean Directorate-General for the Environment.
António Afonso also stated that, during their stay, the young people will have the opportunity to explore the city’s main areas and learn about the culture and values that characterize the Cape Verdean people.
With 135 years of history, Pui Ching Secondary School has a history full of academic achievements, establishing itself as a benchmark in Macau’s educational system.
