Africa-Press – Cape verde. A man aged around 30 was found dead on the road in Ribeira, according to information provided by the Municipal Fire Commander.
Amílcar Ganeto told Inforpress that firefighters were called at around 11pm this Sunday, the 31st, to help a man who was lying on the Ribeira de Vinha road.
However, he added, upon arriving at the scene they found the body of a young man who appeared to be under 30 years old and until now it is not known whether he died as a result of a road accident.
According to the same source, the firefighters, according to the same source, had to call other authorities, who carried out other measures, with the body being lifted early in the morning today.
As for the rest of the services provided by the Municipal Firefighters of São Vicente this New Year, Amílcar Ganeto assured that it was “a lot of work”, with “special attention” to fireworks and activities on Rua de Lisboa, but, “it took place normally ”.
Inforpress contacted the National Police for more information about the body incident, but attempts so far have proven unsuccessful.
