The writer, who is also a musician, will also write the production’s original soundtrack, scheduled to be released next year, as part of the commemorations of the centenary of the birth of Amílcar Cabral and the fiftieth anniversary of the 25th of April.

The play is performed by João Paulo Brito, directed by Flávio Hamilton and with a team made up of artists from both countries.

As in the book, it starts from the last day of Amílcar Cabral’s life to talk about his thoughts and work.
