Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Ministry of Modernization of the State and Public Administration (MMEAP) holds, from 16 to 18 May, in Praia, the Media Agenda on Public Administration focusing on the Quality of Public Service, State Modernization and Digital Transformation.
The Media Agenda on Public Administration, which runs until Wednesday, 18, has a set of activities, including the visit of Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva to the MMEAP facilities, for the presentation of the new government department , on the morning of this Monday, 16.
After the presentation, scheduled for 9 am, the Head of Government, accompanied by the Minister of Modernization of the State and Public Administration, Edna Oliveira, will make a series of visits to the services and institutions of the Public Administration contemplated with actions of administrative modernization and digital transformation. This is between the 16th and 17th.
The Media Agenda on Public Administration ends with the Open Government Partnership (OGP) – Open Government Partnership seminar on Wednesday, May 18, from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, in the Conference Room of the Government Palace.
The Open Government Partnership (OGP) “is a multilateral initiative organization that aims to secure concrete commitments from governments to promote transparency, empower citizens, fight corruption and harness new technologies to strengthen governance”.
Cape Verde joined this institution in 2015, having executed its first Action Plan (2018-2020) at the end of 2021.
