Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Minister of Justice, Joana Rosa, begins a three-day visit to Boa Vista today, with an agenda focused on the inspection of judicial institutions, meetings with local authorities and training of magistrates.
According to a press release sent to Inforpress, the governor is scheduled to tour judicial and police structures in Sal Rei this Monday morning, and will visit the Boa Vista Forum and the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
In the afternoon, the agenda includes an inspection of the Registry Office and Notary’s Office, followed by a visit to the Judicial Police Department.
The central point of Joana Rosa’s visit will be on Tuesday, with her participation and presidency of the opening ceremony of the seventh edition of the Annual Magistrates’ Retreat, starting at 9 am.
The event will be marked by the beginning of practical training in areas of justice administration, with topics including combating corruption and money laundering, investigating sexual crimes in socio-educational processes, developing specialized techniques for hearing children in judicial contexts, and international cooperation for collecting alimony abroad.
The minister’s visit is scheduled to last until the end of the morning period on Wednesday, the 28th.
