Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Minister of Culture and Creative Industries said on Tuesday in Mindelo that the creative writing field with international producers that takes place at the Mansa Floating Hub is an opportunity to internationalize the new Cabo Verdean music.
Abraão Vicente spoke to the press after attend a working session with music producers from various nationalities, led by Teddy Riley, at the invitation of promoter Samba Bathily at the Mansa Floating Hub.
“We have at least nine international producers, we have the presence of a Cabo Verdean artist who is Nelson Freitas and tomorrow will arrive Djodje who are artists who produce for large audience and who although they sing in Creole also make music in English and it is an opportunity to internationalize the new Cabo Verdean music”, said Abraão Vicente.
According to the Minister, it is also an opportunity for these artists to interact and share experiences with producers who will make them reach international markets.
