The Solpontense team, Santo Antão, qualified for the semi-finals of the Under-17 National Football Championship, by beating Gaviões, from Sal, by 3-2, in the last game of subgroup A2 of Group A.
The game was played today, at the Training Center of the Cabo Verdean Football Federation (FCF), and Solpontense’s goals were scored by Issac, who scored twice, and Edson, with Leonardo and Onos scoring the two goals for Gaviões .
Classification
Thus, the final ranking of subgroup A2 of qualifying Group A was ordered as follows: 1st. Solpontense with seven points, the result of two wins, one draw and one defeat; 2nd. Gaviões with six points (two wins and two losses) and, in the 3rd. Académica do Porto Novo with four points (one win, one draw and two defeats).
Semi final games
This afternoon, starting at 15:00, the second team of Group A that will accompany Solpontense to the semi-finals, scheduled for Thursday, 6th, in the municipality of Santa Cruz (Santiago), for which they are already Sporting da Boa Vista and Bola pa Frente (Santiago Sul), both from Group B, were qualified.
Batuque receives Ultramarina (São Nicolau) in the last game of subgroup A1 and to qualify they will have to win by a difference of never less than nine goals, because their direct opponent, EFIZ (Sal), cylindered this Ultramarina team by copious 13-1, game played last Sunday.
