Africa-Press – Cape verde. Today comes to an end, with the delivery of certificates and self-employment and entrepreneurship kits, training within the scope of the Project Car Wash / Training for Car Washers, which covered 120 trainees across the country. On the beach alone there were 30.
The ceremony, which marks the end of the project, will be chaired this Tuesday, 20th, at 3 pm, at the Employment and Vocational Training Center in Praia, by Deputy Prime Minister Olavo Correia.
It should be noted that the Car Wash project was created with the aim of enhancing the activity of car washers and contributing to the improvement of their working conditions, namely better safety and hygiene at work.
Likewise, it intends to allow beneficiaries to have access to youth employment support programs and improve the image of these professionals.
In this edition of the project, 120 car washers were trained nationally, of which 30 are from the municipality of Praia.
In total, 29 self-employment kits will be delivered under the Car Wash Program and 36 kits under the Entrepreneurship Development Program.
The project is budgeted at six million and thirty thousand escudos, financed under the Integrated Program for Entrepreneurship Development.
