Africa-Press – Cape verde. The director of the Santa Rita Vieira Regional Hospital (HRSRV) in North of Santiago, announced today the presence of another medical mission from Egypt in that health facility to carry out actions in the areas of dermatology, stomatology, and internal medicine.
Ludmilde Pina explained that this mission, composed of three health professionals from Egypt, has been in the region since April 20 and will provide services until this Friday, April 28.
According to this official, the Egyptian mission, in addition to providing care to inpatients and outpatients at the hospital, has scheduled consultations in the mentioned areas at the health centers of São Miguel and São Salvador do Mundo, with the goal of bringing care as close as possible to the populations, under the coordination of HRSRV.
“With this additional mission, there is a significant reduction in the number of patients on the waiting list and possibilities for the treatment of dermatological conditions, which are very common in the pediatric population of the Northern Santiago Sanitary Region (RSSN),” said the doctor.
