Africa-Press – Cape verde. Parliament will debate this Wednesday, the 6th, the State Budget for 2025 and the creation of the Global Climate and Environmental Fund, as announced today by the National Assembly.
The next ordinary session of the National Assembly Plenary will take place between the 6th and 8th of November. According to the same source, the first Ordinary Session of November will allow the debate of topics of social interest and the approval of proposed laws with an impact on the lives of Cape Verdean citizens.
The highlight of the first Session will be the General Discussion of the Bill approving the State Budget for the 2025 financial year.
The general discussion and approval of the Draft Resolution approving the National Assembly’s Private Budget for the 2025 financial year is also scheduled. On the 8th, the agenda includes a debate with the Minister of Communities, aiming to address the entire area under his supervision, as indicated by the MpD Parliamentary Group. Also on the 8th, there will be questions from MPs to the Government and the approval of proposals for the law creating the Global Climate and Environmental Fund, a Single-Member Public Limited Company and establishing the bases for its legal framework – Final Global Vote; and the Bill making the first amendment to Law No. 22/X/23, of 18 April, establishing the Legal Framework for the Marketing, Import, Distribution and Production of Single-Use Plastic – Final Global Vote.
