Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Cape Verdean under-21 women’s handball team has, so far, won 7-5 against Torslanda HK Sweden and lost 5-6 against Denmark. It should be remembered that the 52nd edition of the Partille Cup, taking place in Sweden, since the 3rd of June, will last until the 8th of this month and involves around 500 athletes (Under 10 to Under 21), from 50 countries.

This participation is being seen by Cape Verdean sports leaders as an opportunity to promote the country, among a large community in Sweden, more precisely in the city of Gothenburg.

Cape Verde is represented in this competition by a selection made up mostly of under 19 athletes.
