Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Ambassador of Cape Verde to Portugal, Eurico Monteiro, announced that, soon, Loulé will have a Consulate and a Consul of Cape Verde, in the Algarve.

Cited by Jornal do Algarve, Eurico Monteiro explained that the consulate in the Algarve, based in Portimão, will soon start operating in Loulé, the area where most Cape Verdeans reside.

According to him, until now, Cape Verdeans residing in Loulé had some difficulty in dealing with their affairs due to the distance from the Consulate in Portimão.

The information was provided as part of the visit of the President of the Republic of Cape Verde, José Maria Neves to the Algarve, in which Eurico Monteiro was part of the delegation.

The visit ended yesterday.
