Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Agostinho Neto Hospital, city of Praia, receives this Monday, 25, a set of equipment from Chinese Cooperation, within the scope of “good relations” between China and Cape Verde.
Among the donations donated are a microsurgery unit, a computerized frequency therapy device, TDP therapeutic devices, acupuncture points table, in addition to 500 bags of disposable masks, needles, tweezers, surgical suits, among others, intended for services at that hospital, the largest in the country.
These donations are, according to a press release, valued at more than 4 million escudos.
The donation ceremony will take place on Monday, 25th, at 11 am, in the Dario Dantas dos Reis meeting room, at HAN.
The act, the result of good relations between the People’s Republic of China and Cape Verde, is attended by the Minister of Health, Arlindo do Rosário.
It is not new that Chinese Cooperation grants aid to Cape Verde, especially in the health sector.
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU), recently opened at HAN, also had a partnership with the Chinese Embassy in Cape Verde.
