Africa-Press – Cape verde. The City of Praia will host, between 1 and 12 August, two workshops for Higher Institutions for the Control of Public Finances in Francophone Africa, sub-Saharan, to which Cape Verde belongs.
The workshops, according to a note from the Court of Auditors, are organized by the Regional Committee for Institutional Strengthening (CRRI) of the Regional Council for the Training of Higher Institutions for the Control of Public Finances for Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa (CREFIAF).
The first Workshop, which will take place between the 1st and 5th of August, will bring together all the jurisdictional SAIs and aims to approve the Guide Project on the judgment of public accounts, prepared by the Commission in charge of the Reinforcement of Professional Capacities (CRCP) .
In the workshop, says the same source, the final discussion will take place on the “contributions” of the participants on the draft Guide, in addition to ensuring that the Guide considers the relevant standards in terms of judgment of accounts and responds to the concerns of the SAIs and prepare the models of relevant documents to be attached to the draft Guide.
The second workshop, scheduled between the 8th and 12th of August, will be aimed at training and raising awareness of the focal points of the CREFIAF SAIs, and will aim to empower, improve performance and increase the visibility of women for an ever greater and better performance. the same.
