Africa-Press – Cape verde. The last suspect who was on the run since the attack on two police officers in the Fonton area, Praia, on March 16, was captured and sent to preventive detention. The last of the four criminals was arrested on the 14th of July, out of flagrante delicto, in Librão de Engenho, Santa Catarina.
According to the Central Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the PN, he was detained around 18:00 by an operational group on the ground of the National Police that located and detained the fugitive, out of flagrante delicto, in Librão de Engenho, Santa Catarina.
This was the last of the four suspects in the attack against two agents of the National Police, which took place on March 26 of the current year, in the town of Fonton.
This is a 21-year-old male, on whom an arrest warrant was pending outside the act of committing a crime.

Weeks later, the third suspect was captured, who is in preventive detention and now the last.
This, presented to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the promotion of the first interrogation of a detained person, was ordered to Preventive Prison as a measure of personal coercion, the same applied to the other suspects.
